Australian Standard Rail AS1085.1

Cold Forge in partnership with British Steel can supply flat-bottomed vignole rails for a wide range of railway applications and environments to meet AS1085.1 requirements.

To ensure you have exactly the right rail for the right application, they are available in a wide range of profiles, steel grades and international standards, to suit your track requirements.

British Steel's extensive vignole rail range contains a variety of rail profiles and steel grades from all common rail specifications worldwide.   AS60 and AS68 profiles are standard lines.  Profiles below AS60 are a special order and minimum order quantities of 1,250 tonnes apply.

Based on British Steel's experience and understanding of rail degradation they have also developed their own range of premium rail grades to address key degradation mechanisms.
