Steel Sleepers AS1085.17

The Cold Forge range of Steel Sleepers are manufactured by British Steel in the United Kingdom. They are high quality, engineered products, used across the world.

British Steel supply in the order of 200,000 sleepers annually to Network Rail in the United Kingdom for use across the UK network from their Scunthorpe mill. To date approximately 50,000 units have been supplied into Australian rail users.

Cold Forge Steel Sleepers have completed a 3M cyclic load test in accordance with AS1085.17 and are compliant. They also meet the more rigorous (5M cycle) requirements of BS500. Test reports are available upon request.

Cold Forge Steel Sleepers are matched with Pandrol fastenings for peace of mind. Sleepers can be supplied to site with Pandrol FASTCLIP pre-installed for lower installation costs or with Pandrol e-clip (for on-site assembly if preferred). Insulated assemblies are also available.
