Fang Bolts

Fang Bolts provide the means to easily fasten through a sleeper or bearer without having to remove a significant amount of ballast to place the bolt up through the sleeper or bearer.

The bolt is placed through the hole in the sleeper or bearer (thread up) and then fanged washer is slotted into the bolt underneath the sleeper or bearer.  The benefit is only a small amount amount of ballast needs to be removed to place the fanged washer in position.

Fang bolts are height adjustable for varying fixing heights.

Supplied with a standard hex nut for quick engagement of fang washer and a nyloc nut for locking in.

Standard sizes include M16 and M20 with lengths as specified on ordering.
